A MUSICIAN IN THE RAIN

There's something sad about a musician
standing in the pouring rain
without a sound but each pounding drop
and the musician waiting for a cab to stop...
I hoped his evening had gone well
Hoped he'd cast a magic spell
with his music, and the sounds he'd made
and that he was satisfied with how he'd played.
