Army Mom’s Safe Haven

Winter snow at Arlington…
Winter snow at Arlington…

Under the snow, lie the children of war
Their parents, grandparents, ancestors of yore
War never ends, it recycles again
and innocents die, women and men –
Not just the soldiers, though that’s just as bad
but little ones, babies, with eyes that are sad…
Under the snow, lie the children of War
their friends and their families and so many more
These victims are snug, they are safe;
no longer suffer the pain;
Not until next time –
when War starts again.
